Thor Helical wall ties, crack repair wires and warm roof fixings have been subjected to an extensive and independent test programs carried out by CERAM Building Technology. Reinforced masonry beams, incorporating Thor Helical masonry reinforement wires and WHO60 grout, have been the subject of a long-term test program undertaken by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

Thor HeliCalc™ software utilises a BRE approved calculation method applied to the results of the CERAM test program to determine the appropriate helical warm roof fixings, in terms of fastener length and density when accommodating site and construction specific variables and applying current codes and factors of safety.

The results of these test programs are specific to genuine Thor Helical products, which benefit from patented engineered consistencies.  The results do not apply to alternative helical fixings.
