Thor Helical insulation anchors are suitable for fixing insulation boards (Celotex, Kingspan, Rockwool, etc.,) to timber for an insulated flat roof deck or to Thermalite for external wall insulation ( EWI ). No pre-drill is required.

The 'drill-free' cork-screw action of the twisted hammer driven fastener offers a rapid, cost effective and thermally efficient method of fixing deep insulation to timber or aircrete (AAC) without the impairment and contamination issues associated with drilling through the insulation layer.

Where layers have insufficient strength or thickness to interact with the helix, the head portion of this patented Insofast helical anchor provides the means by which rigid insulation boards, wire lath, mesh or plywood layers are securely clamped to the building structure, on occasion utlising additional load spreading and retaining washers.  Metal insulation fixings are available for fixing fire-proof insulation to concrete soffits and brickwork via a very small pilot hole.
